Steve Shields is a Vice President with CBRE’s National Retail Partners (NRP) Southeast team. NRP is a select team of CBRE Capital Markets professionals who specialize in the sale and recapitalization of retail properties throughout the United States. Steve focuses his attention exclusively on the sale of multi-tenant and single tenant retail properties in the southeast. By concentrating exclusively on the sale of investment properties, he is able to focus on the complex details of major sales transactions, utilizing his expertise in understanding the capital markets, knowing and accessing investors, and underwriting and developing marketing strategies for the disposition of investment properties. Since joining the team in 2007, he has assisted in the disposition of 240+ retail investment property sales, including neighborhood, single tenant, community, mixed-use, and power centers.
Prior to his employment with CBRE, Steve had a variety of operational and financial roles in Denver, Colorado and Charlotte, North Carolina.
