Tim Huffman is an Executive Vice President with CBRE’s Data Center Solutions. With over 20 years of experience in data center transactions, he focuses on providing advisory and transaction services for clients requiring complex data center solutions.
As a global leader, Mr. Huffman has transacted data center projects across the US, EMEA and APAC. He provides clients with expert services in the areas of data center sale-leasebacks, asset sales, adaptive reuse, land acquisition and greenfield build to suit projects.
Additionally, he has deep experience representing clients in the negotiation of data center outsourcing solutions involving colocation, cloud services, telephony, and managed services solutions. Collaborating with business, operations, IT and real estate teams, Tim delivers high-value strategies and outcomes to his clients.
Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Huffman was the founder and Director of the Technology Solutions Group with Colliers International. In this role, he was the team lead and top performing data center advisor globally.
From 2000 to 2011, Mr. Huffman served as an executive with data center operators that provided colocation and managed services to global organizations. Prior to 2000, he was a successful entrepreneur taking several start-up companies to market.
As a Grammy nominated recording artist, Tim is still active with his musical pursuits and has recorded or performed with musical talents such as Jimmy Buffett, Hall & Oates, Zac Brown Band, Graham Nash, Allman Brothers and Kansas.
He regularly volunteers his time with the Shepard Center in Atlanta as a music therapist serving injured veterans and those suffering from brain and spinal cord injuries.
