Wes McBrayer, MAI, ASA

Wes McBrayer, MAI is a Senior Vice President for the Valuation & Advisory Services Group and is located in the Houston office. Mr. McBrayer is the Leader of Special Use Industrial Valuations, specializing in the valuation of industrial and special use properties. Special use industrial valuations encompass a wide variety of complex industrial property types including petrochemical refineries and terminals, chemical plants, materials processing plants, manufacturing plants, railyards, shipyards, power plants and substations, cold storage facilities, food processing plants, pipelines, quarries, renewable energy facilities and many other specialized heavy industrial uses. While located in the Houston office, Mr. McBrayer assists clients nationwide to perform complex valuations or connect with local valuation experts in any market.

Mr. McBrayer’s primary geographical location is the Houston area, but he also has experience in many markets outside of the primary Houston metro. Mr. McBrayer has extensive experience in secondary markets such as Beaumont, Port Arthur, Corpus Christi, Bryan/College Station, Victoria, the Rio Grande Valley, the Permian Basin, the Eagle Ford Shale, Marcellus Shale, the Bakken Shale, the Front Range (Denver Basin), Gulf Coast waterfront, Mid-Atlantic waterfront, and the Great Lakes. In addition, he has completed valuation and consulting assignments in over 30 states outside of Texas.

Prior to his promotion to Practice Leader in 2023, Mr. McBrayer managed operations for the Special Use Industrial Valuations team since 2018. Before joining CBRE, Inc., Mr. McBrayer was a Managing Director for a boutique full- service commercial real estate firm in Houston. He was responsible for managing operations of the appraisal team, brokerage client services, and was a part of the property development team. From 2009 to 2014, Mr. McBrayer was a Senior Analyst for Integra Realty Resources – Houston. While at IRR-Houston, he was a senior producer in the Seniors Housing and Healthcare Specialty Practice and the Hospitality Specialty Practice.
