Ms. Marcus specializes in arranging financing for all major commercial real estate property types and specialty types such as data centers, cold storage facilities and super-regional malls. Her clients are institutional and middle-market investors with needs in the large and mid-sized loan space. She joins the CBRE team of Brad Wilmot, Rachel Eberle and Austin Ghaderi.
“With increased disruption in the debt markets, investors need guidance and expertise more than ever. The addition of experts like Allison to our already strong team best positions CBRE to help our clients navigate existing volatility and anticipate future challenges and opportunities,” said Lew Horne, president of Advisory Services for CBRE in Greater Los Angeles, Orange County and the Inland Empire.
Ms. Marcus joins CBRE from Goldman Sachs’ Real Estate Finance & Investment Banking group, where she was a senior leader on a 15-person West Coast team. The team was responsible for $1.6 billion in production volume in 2021, including the $389-million financing of One Wilshire, a carrier hotel data center in downtown Los Angeles. Prior to that, she held senior roles with Ernst & Young and Beacon Communities.
