CBRE Announces William Hartman Has Joined the Firm as a Vice Chair

CBRE today announced that William Hartman has joined the firm’s Advisory & Transaction team in New York City as a Vice Chair. Mr. Hartman specializes in life science landlord and tenant representation.

“Bill’s addition to our life science team further enhances our ability to deliver superior outcomes to our clients,” said Matt Van Buren, President, New York Tri-State, CBRE. “He is a trusted advisor to many owners and occupiers, with a long track record of delivering outstanding results. We are thrilled that he has joined us.”

Prior to CBRE, Hartman was an Executive Managing Director at Cushman & Wakefield. Over his 33-year career, he has been involved in more than 15 million sq. ft. of leasing and sale transactions. Mr. Hartman turned his focus to life science in 2005 and since then, has established himself as a leading national and international life science expert, having led many of the sector’s most prominent assignments in markets like San Francisco, Houston, Boston and London.

Mr. Hartman received an MBA from New York University Stern School of Business. He is an active fund raiser for the Children’s Scholarship Fund, a program that provides a top-quality education to underprivileged, at-risk, inner-city kids as well as for the Navy Seal Foundation.
