CBRE Arranges $15.75 Million Sale of Township Plaza Retail Center in Coconut Creek, Florida

CBRE has facilitated the $15.75 million sale of Township Plaza, a 66,266-square-foot, newly-renovated neighborhood retail center located at 4400 W. Sample Road in Coconut Creek, Fla.

Benjamin H. Silver of CBRE represented both the seller, South Florida-based real estate developer S2 Development, and the buyer, New York-based private equity firm Freshwater Group, LLC, in the transaction.

Built in 1990 and renovated in 2021, Township Plaza was 89 percent leased at the time of sale to a variety of medical, office, restaurant, and retail tenants. The center features offices on the second floor anchored by Minto Communities and includes a McDonald’s outparcel.

“Township Plaza provides excellent visibility along W Sample Road and an exceptional parking ratio that few competing properties can offer. The property has seen an increasing number of medical tenants occupy their retail spaces since the property underwent a series of high-end renovations and upgrades, transforming it into a best-in-class asset,” said CBRE’s Silver.

It is proximate to Route 441 and the Florida Turnpike, in central Broward, with excellent access throughout South Florida.
