In a long-term transaction arranged by CBRE, Shinhan Bank, one of the largest Korean financial institutions, has inked a 15,279-sq.-ft. office lease at 750 Seventh Avenue. Shinhan Bank will occupy the entire 26th floor of the 36-story, Class A office tower located in the heart of Midtown and owned by 750 Seventh Ave NY LLC.

The CBRE team of Howard Fiddle, Brett Shannon, Arkady Smolyanky, Evan Fiddle and Jacob Rosenthal spearheads the office leasing campaign at the property and represented 750 Seventh Ave NY LLC in the negotiations. Shinhan Bank was represented by Matthias Li and Cole Chartash of Cushman & Wakefield.

The tower floors at 750 Seventh Avenue offer floor-to-ceiling windows, 13’ ceiling heights, abundant natural light, and panoramic views of the Hudson River and surrounding cityscape. “The space on the 26th floor is exceptional,” said Howard Fiddle. “We are thrilled to be able to accommodate Shinhan Bank’s real estate requirements for high-quality office space in one of the premier locations in Manhattan. Ownership of 750 Seventh Avenue is committed to providing the best possible experience for both existing and new tenants at 750 Seventh Avenue, as demonstrated by their recent investment in the building and ability to construct first class installations.”

750 Seventh Avenue is a 36-story office tower that was constructed in 1990. Recent investments in 750 Seventh Avenue include a full elevator modernization and cab renovation as well as construction of a new bike room. Two amenity floors at the building offer tenants conferencing facilities, a large training room, full café, and grab-n-go coffee counter. With regard to specific tenant spaces, Ownership of 750 Seventh Avenue recently completed construction of a brand new, high-end prebuilt unit on the 28th floor that was designed by TPG. In addition to Shinhan Bank, 750 Seventh Avenue houses Morgan Stanley and Mendes & Mount.

With the finalization of the transaction with Shinhan Bank, only three floors remain available at the property, which is now 91% leased.
