CBRE Arranges Lease for MemorialCare Medical Foundation at University Park in Irvine, Calif.

CBRE announced a 10-year lease for MemorialCare Medical Foundation at University Park in Irvine, Calif.

CBRE’s Andy Nott and Austin Kanzler represented the tenant, a leading integrated health system providing internal and family medicine, pediatrics, urgent care and dental throughout Orange County, in the transaction.

MemorialCare Medical Foundation signed a 9,460 square-foot lease at University Park, located at 18102 Culver Drive. University Park is a community retail center anchored by Wholesome Choice, Rite Aid, Wells Fargo and Carl’s Jr. MemorialCare will be taking over the formerly occupied Crown Ace Hardware suite located next to Rite Aid.

MemorialCare has more than 200 locations throughout Southern California, servicing over 1.7 million patients per year with hospital campuses located in Long Beach, Fountain Valley, and Laguna Hills.

“MemorialCare was not actively looking for space in the market but when the right property became available, we were quick to mobilize and negotiate terms,” said Kanzler. “This deal is indicative of the increasing demand for quality retail space for medical users.”
