CBRE Arranges New HQ Lease for Crystal Cruises in Hallandale Beach, Florida

CBRE has facilitated a new 15,206-square-foot office lease for Crystal Cruises’ headquarters to be located in Optima Onyx Tower at 1010 South Federal Highway in Hallandale Beach, Fla.

CBRE’s Scott Goldstein and Keith Edelman handled lease negotiations for Crystal Cruises. The landlord is Optima International North LLC, who was represented by Juan Ruiz and Jack Davidson of Blanca Commercial Real Estate.

“We were searching for a central location that would allow us to execute our growth and operational goals by capitalizing on the talent pool in both Miami-Dade and Broward counties,” said Crystal Cruises’ CEO Jack Anderson. “The building’s proximity to the soon-to-open Brightline station in Aventura will offer employees and visitors easy access to the new office. Additionally, employees will have access to the Optima Campus’ shared amenities, as well as nearby shopping, dining and entertainment venues.”

The cruise line plans to occupy space on the 15th floor in the fourth quarter of 2023. While their new, state-of-the-art office is being built, they will occupy temporary space in the complex.

“Crystal Cruises will use temporary space within the campus until their new space on the 15th floor, which is in shell condition, is built-out to their specifications. This will allow them to commence on-site operations immediately,” said CBRE Senior Vice President Scott Goldstein.

Optima Onyx Tower is the newest 28-story office building on the Optima Office Campus. The Class A, LEED Platinum Certified building features solar panels, electric car chargers, rainwater recycling system, onsite restaurant and café, fitness center, jogging trail, rooftop lap pool, and an acre of collaborative green space.

In June 2022, A&K Travel Group Ltd. (A&K), a pioneering travel company, acquired the award-winning Crystal Cruises along with its two luxury cruise vessels, which are currently being refurbished in Italy and are anticipated to resume sailing in the summer of 2023.
