CBRE Brokers New R&D/Lab Lease in Davis, Calif., for Denmark Life Science Company

CBRE arranged a 12,000-sq.-ft. lease in Davis’ University Research Park for 21st.bio. This is the first U.S. location for the Denmark-based life sciences company.

Josh Nelson and Jason Goff of CBRE represented the tenant, 21st.bio. Jim Gray and Nahz Anvary of Kidder Mathews represented the landlord, URP Investors. University Research Pak is managed by Fulcrum Property Corp.

Located at 1940 Research Park Drive in Davis, California, the property was built in 2009 for office, life science and R&D use. It is part of 17 distinct buildings situated on 33 acres comprising of approximately 306,000 total square feet.

A new analysis conducted by CBRE earlier this year identified Sacramento as one of the top 25 life sciences research talent clusters, illustrating the growth of life sciences beyond the coastal research hubs for which it is mostly known.
