CBRE Hires Senior Executive James Bennett to Bay Area Life Sciences Team

PALO ALTO, CALIF. – August 1, 2022 – CBRE announced the hire of James Bennett as Vice Chairman in Palo Alto. Mr. Bennett will join CBRE’s life sciences practice in the San Francisco Bay Area, bringing over 30 years of experience in tenant and landlord representation, investment sales, asset management, development and valuation.

Previously, Mr. Bennett held a senior leadership role in Kidder Matthews’ life sciences group where he was involved in major tenant and landlord assignments throughout the West Coast, including the San Francisco Bay Area and San Diego.

Mr. Bennett has represented a range of tenants including Big Pharma, large and mid-cap publicly traded biotech companies and early-stage venture backed firms. He has also represented a variety of investors and developers, ranging from institutional REITs and multi-national investment firms to local building owners.
