CBRE Promotes Chris Corrinet to Vice Chairman

CBRE announced that Chris Corrinet has been promoted to Vice Chairman, the highest rank for producers within the company. Since joining CBRE in 2005, Mr. Corrinet has completed more than 24 million square feet of transactions representing firms across a broad range of industries with a primary focus on financial services.

Mr. Corrinet has recently advised top asset management and consulting firms including Apollo, Bain Consulting, Boston Consulting Group, Corsair Capital, Davidson Kempner, Iconiq Capital, Kelso & Co, Maverick Capital, Northern Trust and Sound Point Capital. He has also completed some of the Tri-State area’s most noteworthy transactions over the last decade. In 2019, he represented Deerfield Management in its 320,000-sq.-ft. acquisition of 345 Park Avenue South. In 2018 and 2021, he represented Hudson River Trading in its 210,000-sq.-ft. expansion to 3 World Trade Center after initially leasing 70,000 sq. ft. at 4 World Trade Center in 2016.

In 2016, Mr. Corrinet represented the National Hockey League in its 180,000-sq.-ft. relocation to One Manhattan West. In that same year, Mr. Corrinet represented Major League Baseball in its 400,000-sq.-ft. consolidation to 1271 Avenue of the Americas, and Citadel in its 210,000-sq.-ft. anchor lease at 425 Park Avenue.

Mr. Corrinet graduated from Deerfield Academy and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton University in 2001, where he was a captain of the Men’s Ice Hockey team, winning two Ivy League Championships and was a 4th round draft pick of the Washington Capitals in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft. Following his graduation from Princeton, he played four years of professional ice hockey, notably for the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League and in Slovenia.
