CBRE Group, Inc. Promotes Erica Hill to Lead Global Supplier Diversity
09 Nov 2020
CBRE has announced that Erica Hill has been promoted to Global Supplier Diversity Leader, a newly created role that will increase CBRE’s engagement with businesses certified as owned by underrepresented groups.
Ms. Hill’s appointment follows CBRE’s pledge in October to spend $1 billion with diverse suppliers in 2021 and to grow that spend to $3 billion in five years.
“Erica is a terrific professional who will help us substantially increase our engagement and partnerships with diverse suppliers. She will focus on developing a comprehensive supplier diversity strategy and will add energy and focus to this important initiative,” said Andrea Greco, CBRE’s Chief Procurement Officer.
Ms. Hill has more than 20 years of experience in supply chain leadership. Most recently, she led global supply chain and sourcing practices for CBRE clients in the Northeast, which have more than $1 billion of third-party spend.
Ms. Hill will report to Mr. Greco and CBRE Chief Diversity Officer Tim Dismond.
CBRE’s supply chain function manages one of the largest third-party spends in the commercial real estate industry through hundreds of professionals on four continents. By reaching its diverse-spend goals, CBRE aspires to earn a seat on the prestigious Billion Dollar Roundtable (BDR), a group that now consists of just 28 companies that are recognized leaders in the area of supplier diversity. Members of the BDR use their large-scale purchasing power and procurement practices to influence suppliers and drive positive outcomes for local communities around the world.
