Industry Veteran Jim Bailey Joins CBRE as a Vice Chairman in Houston

CBRE announced today that Jim Bailey has joined its Houston Advisory & Transaction Services team as a Vice Chairman. Mr. Bailey will focus on providing leasing and strategic consulting services for office occupier clients, while also introducing CBRE’s wide range of services.

Mr. Bailey is an industry veteran who has brokered some of the largest office lease, sale, and build-to-suit transactions ever in Houston. He previously spent 30 years assisting clients with their office space requirements at Cushman & Wakefield and its predecessor entities in Houston. He most recently served as a Vice Chairman at the firm, where he ranked as a Global Top 10 Producer and was consistently recognized as a one of the top office brokers in Houston by the firm and the Houston Business Journal.

A native Houstonian, Mr. Bailey has an extensive track record as a local business and community leader, serving among others as a trustee of Episcopal High School, Stoney Creek Ranch and member of the Houston Methodist Neurological Institute Council. His professional accolades include multiple recognitions as a Houston NAIOP Broker of the Year and Deal of the Year award winner and finalist, as well as repeat nominations for the Houston Business Journal’s Legacy Award.
