Leading Commercial Real Estate Finance Team Joins CBRE in West L.A.

CBRE today announced that Gianni Novo and the Novo Capital Partners team have joined CBRE Capital Markets’ Debt & Structured Finance team in Los Angeles.

The team specializes in commercial real estate loan origination, working across multifamily, retail, industrial and office property types. They are experienced in acquisition financing, construction financing and equity recapitalization and work with a multitude of capital sources, including commercial banks, agency, CMBS, credit unions, life insurance and private money. They have collectively financed and closed in excess of $1 billion in commercial real estate loans across the U.S.

Mr. Novo, who joins CBRE as a Senior Vice President, founded Novo Capital Partners in 2014. The company quickly grew to become one of Southern California’s most active commercial mortgage firms in the private client market. Previously, Mr. Novo was a Managing Director at New York-based Silverthread Capital, where he was the firm’s top producing loan originator. “We are excited to combine over a decade’s worth of our lending relationships with CBRE’s dynamic platform to continue providing seamless loan executions for our clients,” said Mr. Novo.
