- Over 1.6 million sq. ft. of retail space was under construction in Q4 2017, the highest amount since Q2 2009.
- Positive net absorption of 375,509 sq. ft. was recorded in Q4 2017, bringing the year-to-date absorption to 339,012 sq. ft.
- Year-over-year the average direct asking lease rate increased 4.4% to $18.55 per sq. ft. NNN.
- Although direct vacancy decreased by 33 bps quarter-over-quarter to 6.4%, the rate is 124 bps higher than Q4 2016.
