Quarterly Highlights

•  Demand for prime sites remains strong with developers continuing to acquire sites for all types of development.

•  The biggest land sale in Thai history was the recent acquisition of the British Embassy site by the joint venture of the Central Group and Hong Kong Land for 420 million pounds.

•  A record price paid at approx. 3.1 million baht per square wah or USD 24,000 per square meter for a development site on Soi Langsuan.

•  There was one major arm’s length transaction for income producing property during this quarter. JR Kyushu acquired Somerset Lakepoint Bangkok at THB 2.9 billion or USD 92 million and will be rebranded as Shama Lakeview Asoke.
