Hong Kong Special Report - Consumer Survey 2014
In August 2014 CBRE conducted its first ever Asia Pacific consumer survey, interviewing 11,000 consumers in 11 major cities across the region in order to learn more about how and where they shop for non-food items. The exercise also sought to identify discover current and future shopping trends across the region. Hong Kong was included in the survey, with a total of 1,001 respondents interviewed. The Hong Kong chapter of the Survey concludes that Hong Kong consumers are extremely tech savvy but brick and mortar retailing will remain dominant.
