The Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Phoenix inspires and enables youth in our community, especially those faced with difficult and challenging circumstances, to realize their individual potential while learning responsible citizenship. Barry Gabel and Will Mast are members of the Executive Council and Barry previously was the past President.

EC70 Executive Council Charities
The Executive Council Charities goal is to provide grants to programs and non-profit organizations focused on helping the youth of Arizona reach their full potential. Executive Council 70 (EC70) is a group of working professionals dedicated to organizing fundraising activities to fund Executive Council Charities’ grant program. Prior to forming EC70, the more than 250 members developed and implemented fundraising activities to benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Phoenix, raising more than $12 million for that organization. Barry Gabel is a member of EC70 and Will Mast is on the board.

Make-A-Wish Arizona
Make-A-Wish Arizona grants approximately 400 wishes a year for Arizona children dealing with critical illnesses. The organization, which has its national, international and Arizona headquarters in Phoenix, now grants more than 15,000 wishes in the United States each year, or a wish every 34 minutes. Chris Marchildon is a member of the Make-A-Wish Arizona Wishmakers Council. The council members represent a cross-section of Arizona’s civic, corporate, and philanthropic leaders.

NAIOP & NAIOP Developing Leaders
NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, is the leading organization for developers, owners and related professionals in office, industrial and mixed-use real estate. NAIOP comprises 18,000+ members in North America. NAIOP advances responsible commercial real estate development and advocates for effective public policy. NAIOP’s Developing Leaders is a program geared specifically for real estate professionals age 35 and under. The program was designed to help offer the tools to move young professionals to the next level, connect with their peers nationwide and gain access to leaders of the industry. Chris Marchildon previously served as Chairman of NAIOP Developing Leaders, Will Mast is an active member and Barry Gabel is part of the NAIOP Developing Leaders mentorship program.

Phoenix Children's Hospital
Phoenix Children’s Hospital is recognized as Arizona’s source for superior care of sick or injured children; for advanced education for child health providers; and for innovation, information, and influence in the promotion of child health. Their focus is providing Hope, Healing and the best Health Care for children and their families. Barry Gabel and Chris Marchildon have been volunteers for the Phoenix Children’s Hospital Golf Tournament over the past seven years. Barry has personally raised nearly $700,000 for the hospital.

Valley Partnership is the Valley of the Sun’s premier organization that advocates responsible development. The partners come from the private and public sectors and include developers, planners, architects, engineers, lawyers, and other professionals that are involved in development-related issues. Chris Marchildon was selected to be a part of the Valley Partnership Advocates Program.
