Ben is a Vice Chairman and Co-Head of CBRE Alternative Investments Practice (AIP), an industry-specific practice group focused on advising private equity firms, hedge funds, venture capital and other Alternative Investment companies on their real estate strategies in New York City and around the world.
Throughout Ben’s 25+ year career, he has represented many of the world’s top financial service firms, from infancy to global organizations, having negotiated over 1,000 transactions on their behalf. Ben’s expertise is well-known throughout the financial community and he is the industry’s “go-to” advisor, offering insights gained from years of partnering with leading firms. The AIP brand is known throughout the New York City real estate community for their activity, deal creativity, relationships at the highest levels, problem-solving attitudes, and fierce representation of their client’s interests.
In addition to representing groups in New York, AIP provides advisory services to firms in the Alternative Investments sector on real estate needs within their investment portfolios. Ben is able to couple CBRE’s global network of location and industry experts with his own team’s understanding of the financial ramifications, to marry real estate and investment strategies.
An established market expert, Ben has distinguished himself throughout his 25+ years with CBRE by developing enviable personal and professional relationships with many of the world’s most prestigious financial services companies. He is recognized as one of CBRE’s top producers globally and is consistently looked to for his insights—participating in several podcasts (Hidden Forces, Duke Long, ThriveLOUD) and frequently providing quotes for the WSJ, NY Post, New York Times, and many leading industry publications. In addition to building his own business, Ben gives back by actively mentoring and developing training programs for emerging professionals at CBRE.

Along with a passion for real estate, Ben has an equally passionate commitment to Backyard Sports Cares, where he is President of the Board, and other philanthropic causes. He is also a husband, father of three (Samantha, Jacob, Rebecca), a hoops player, a movie/TV/podcast enthusiast—and is trying to optimize daily.
