Our Digital & Technology (D&T) talent flourishes in a vibrant culture of collaboration, and this year's global hackathon, Innovate 2025, was our grandest celebration yet—an inspiring testament to this dynamic spirit!
Innovate 2025 brought together employees to solve real business challenges using artificial intelligence (AI). The event democratized access to AI, encouraging participation from all geographies and business lines. Nearly 200 teams and over 800 participants - hailing from 20 different countries - gained hands-on experience in data aggregation, AI/ML model development, agentic AI automation, and insight generation.
The hackathon showcased our commitment to meaningful AI applications, unlocking value from hard-to-reach data, enhancing digital assistant experiences, and delivering unique market solutions. Teams had 48 hours to create and present their prototypes to a panel of judges, who evaluated them based on business impact, innovation, market readiness, scalability, and presentation.

Participating in the hackathon was a rewarding experience that allowed our team to experiment with new concepts and technologies. Using resources provided during the event, our team could quickly transform original ideas into real, working prototypes that directly support our business.
Participating in CBRE’s AI Hackathon was an incredible journey of innovation and collaboration. Working alongside a super-talented team in D&T and the business, we combined our diverse skills and perspectives to push the boundaries of contract risk assessment.
