The Capital Markets Academy is an educational program designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the interconnectivity of the various components of the real estate capital markets.
Loan Servicing & Asset Management Fellowship
The CBRE Loan Servicing & Asset Management Fellowship Program is a 6-week, online educational program designed to provide college students with exposure to these vital operations in the Commercial Real Estate industry. This program will demystify how a loan operates after a commercial real estate deal is closed. Fellows will dive deep into subject matter alongside veteran industry experts to understand the various career opportunities in this growing industry.

Capital Markets Fellowship
The CBRE Capital Markets Fellowship is a 6-week, online educational program designed to provide college students with an overview of how capital markets work in commercial real estate. Fellows are exposed to a wide range of positions and responsibilities directly tied to entry-level roles within the firm while learning about transaction types, asset classes, capital stacks—truly expanding knowledge within the commercial real estate sector! Students will learn concepts in Capital Markets from various professionals within the firm.

Affordable Housing Fellowship
The CBRE Affordable Housing Fellowship Program is a 6-week, online educational program designed to provide college students with a comprehensive understanding of the specialized expertise involved in investing and operating Affordable Housing. Fellows will get in-depth exposure to Affordable Housing concepts and nomenclature, including Section 8, Section 42, LURAs, deal structure, capital sources, and direct exposure to market leaders in CBRE’s Affordable Housing group.
Applications will open in Spring 2026.
Hospitality Capital Markets Fellowship
The CBRE Hospitality Capital Markets Fellowship Program is a 5-week, online educational program designed to provide college students with a comprehensive understanding of the specialized expertise involved in investing and operating Hospitality assets. Fellows will get in-depth exposure to concepts and nomenclature in the Hospitality sector, including underwriting for sales & debt, valuation of assets and research and market dynamics. Fellows will dive deep into subject matter alongside veteran industry experts to understand the various career opportunities in this ever-growing specialty.
