Downtown Vancouver Mobility Patterns

Vancouver is an emerging suburb of the Portland metro area, where workers are rediscovering and redefining post-pandemic habits– from commuting routines to lifestyle spending. Local government and private enterprises have made significant investments in downtown Vancouver, including the area along the Columbia River and west of the I-5 freeway, commonly referred to as “the Waterfront.” This short report addresses worker mobility to/from downtown Vancouver, shedding light on when most employees are physically present and how long they typically remain downtown.
