To further enhance the certification credentials of our technical workforce globally, we recently teamed up with CNet Training, a global leader in technical education for the digital infrastructure industry.

Through CNet Training, we are committing to certify 100% of our technicians—across every site where we manage data centers around the world—with the highly respected Certified Data Centre Technician Professional (CDCTP®) designation. In doing so, we hope to:

  1. Demonstrate that our technicians are the most qualified and knowledgeable in the     industry
  2. Drive superior outcomes for our clients by further mitigating risks
  3. Strengthen CBRE’s position as an Employer of Choice and destination for top talent

The certification programme serves the worldwide data center sector and may be completed in a classroom or virtually. It is specifically designed for individuals who are responsible for the day-to-day integrity of mission-critical facilities and wish to acquire skills and knowledge of the highest caliber. The curriculum covers key operating environments and compliance based on legislation, standards and codes of conduct, as well as technology and auditing techniques.

Our certification commitment is an industry first, and we hope to spread the word about this program and its efficacy far and wide. We believe it will help retain, recruit and strengthen our technical staff, and positively impact the global data center industry.
