Kansas Electrician Lends a (Sanitary) Hand
Our People

When Walter Joynt, a CBRE Facilities Electrician in Wichita, Kansas, recently learned about a couple of COVID-19 cases in a client’s manufacturing plant, he sprang into action.
Even though the Midwest hadn’t been hit as hard as other regions, Joynt was deeply concerned about the growing pandemic and wanted to help slow the spread of the virus.
Joynt bought a bunch of 3-ounce bottles and bulk hand sanitizer from a local store that had some in stock. He filled the bottles and passed them out to workers at the plant. He also placed a few larger bottles in key spots: the front desk, security, HR, supervisors’ desks, a couple break rooms and other high-traffic areas.
“My wife has a vulnerable immune system, so I know first-hand how important this is and felt called to do something,” Joynt explains. “My heart goes out to everyone who is impacted by this virus, and I’m praying for a rapid resolution to this situation.”
