The Bay Course at Kapalua Resort
Kapalua Resort is recognized internationally as one of the top golf and tennis resorts in the world. The beautiful Bay Course at Kapalua Resort debuted in 1972 and was designed by golf legend Arnold Palmer with Francis Duane, a long-time associate of Robert Trent Jones, Sr.
The Bay Course, which has hosted 20 professional tournaments including the Kapalua LPGA Classic in 2008 (won by Morgan Pressel), enjoys expansive views of the islands of Molokai and Lanai, with direct ocean frontage on several holes. The 20,000 SF clubhouse complex consisted of the award-winning Pineapple Grill restaurant, pro shop and cart barn, as well as the Kapalua Tennis Garden with 10 courts (4 lighted) and a stand-alone clubhouse.
We represented seller/developer Maui Land & Pineapple in the sale of the Bay Course to Tadashi Yanai, who had previously acquired the Plantation Course at Kapalua.
