The first six months of 2022 were a mixed bag of new leasing activity and negative net absorption for the Louisville retail market.

  • 158,288 sq. ft. of negative net absorption was recorded
  • Availability rate increased 50 basis points to 6.1%
  • The average asking lease rate for big box spaces increased by $0.23 psf to $10.19 psf
  • The small shop average asking lease rate rose by $0.53 psf to $18.84 psf
  • Marketwide blended average asking lease rate increased by $0.65 psf to $14.40 psf
