SEE Investment Figures Q2 2023
5 Minute
The second quarter of the year has picked up the pace regarding investment activity in the SEE region. A major portion of the investment volume came from Serbia, where it has bounced back and which has recorded almost 90% of activity, mainly within the office sector.
Owing to the fact that the inflation remains elevated across the SEE region and that the economic still hasn’t regained its stability, it is expected that investment activity in the forthcoming period will remain moderate, although the SEE region may follow in the footsteps of the rest of Europe and experience a downtrend in the forthcoming period.
The office sector is expected to continue dominating the investment scene owing to an inadequate office market saturation, while it is anticipated that the hotel sector will also preserve its active pace, especially in the coastal zone.
