John joined Arrow in 2010 and is Managing Principal of Arrow managed Funds as well as accountable for Arrow’s Platforms, Portfolio Management Performance, Fund Operations, IT & Change. During his tenure at Arrow, John has been involved in developing Arrow’s Italian strategy and having also been Arrow’s Portugal Country Manager and Whitestar CEO.

Prior to that, John gained more than 15 years’ experience across various international capital market institutions, including as COO of MIAC Assurance Corporation, Head of Operations at SCA, which he joined after an independent consultant role overseeing the build out of the first independent, NPL servicing company in Portugal, and CIO at Clayton. John began his career at MBIA.

Managing Director

Francisco Horta e Costa serves as the Managing Director for CBRE Portugal, a position he has held since 2012. He leads a team of approximately 280 professionals, overseeing all commercial real estate sectors excluding residential B2C. His career began at Citibank, followed by a role in the treasury department of Agroman/Ferrovial. He initially spent a decade at CBRE, including nearly seven years as Head of Investment, before a period as International and Commercial Director at Norfin. Rejoining CBRE in 2009, he focused on Capital Markets before his current appointment. Under his leadership, CBRE Portugal has diversified its services to include tourism, healthcare, and agribusiness, and established a unique Capital Advisors branch. He also spearheaded the "Small and Medium Caps" unit. Horta e Costa is recognized for his expertise in the Portuguese real estate market, contributing to major transactions like the 2021 sale of a 4,400-apartment portfolio, the largest in Portugal.
