Coming off a year of COVID-constrained investment volumes, a degree of investor optimism has taken hold as 50% of investors expect to step up purchasing activity in 2021, CBRE Research finds. This improved sentiment, along with a vaccination program, which is well underway across Europe, are a strong indicator that investment volumes across CEE countries will either register a similar volume as the previous year either will witness slight increases.

CBRE’s 2021 EMEA Investor Intentions Survey was conducted between December 2, 2020 and January 19, 2021. Over 400 Europe-based investors participated in the survey, which asked respondents a range of questions regarding their buying appetite and preferred strategies for sectors and markets in 2021. The CEE located investors claimed a share of 8% from the total respondents.
