CBRE’s Italian Investor Intentions Survey 2026 confirms the positive trend observed over the past two years, with overall sentiment remaining positive across all sectors, mainly driven by attractive entry points, improving cost of debt and low competition from ongoing developments.
Most investors agree on increasing or keeping stable their allocation to real estate, especially in Hotels, Data Centers and in the Living sector. Pricing expectations are mainly positive or stable, but some bid-ask spread persists, mainly for Offices in secondary locations and Shopping Centers.
Appetite for core investments is moderately growing, but core+ and value-add opportunities remain the most sought-after. Most investors are interested in purchasing properties belonging to alternative asset classes and operational real estate.
