Pacific Local Response - Asia Pacific Occupier Survey, May 2022

The return to office is well underway across Australia and New Zealand, with corporates better understanding their strategies as we navigate out of the pandemic. CBRE Research conducted the third APAC Occupier Survey in March/April 2022. This report has analysed the responses from the Pacific region, with 5 key trends identified:

1. The adoption of hybrid working has increased in the past year

2. Unassigned seating is accelerating within occupier’s footprints

3. Pacific occupiers are more willing to allow an organic return to the office

4. More collaboration space is the key priority for new office designs

5. ESG credentialled buildings are being prioritised by occupiers
