Workplace 2.0 & Employee Engagement

Surveying how the mix of workplace policies have evolved since the summer of 2021 (i.e., fully on-site, hybrid, fully remote), 2023 has experienced a steadily growing delta between employers going hybrid and fully remote. That is, only around 10% of employers are fully remote and more than 30% (and rising) of employers are hybrid. This evolution is in line with past findings based on CBRE surveying commercial real estate decision-makers, as well as CBRE’s Global Live-Work-Shop report, which polled 20,000 people to discern how the built environment is most likely to evolve in response to work and lifestyle preferences across generations in the post-pandemic era.
