Over the past 20 years, Downtown Kansas City has reinvented itself from a 9-to-5 oice district into a dynamic, innovation, education, cultural and civic activity center, as well as the location of choice for those seeking easy access to the metro's best cultural and entertainment amenities.

Recently a residential boom has begun with 6,380 units completed since the beginning of 2017, and another 863 units under construction with completion expected over the next two years.

Over $8 billion in capital investment has been completed or is underway since 2000, and according to the Downtown Council of Kansas City's estimates the population has increased 32% to 31,200+ residents over the last five years, by far the highest rate of growth for any submarket in the region.
