Professional Experience


Mike Taquino, with 15 years of real estate experience, is an Executive Vice President and a partner on the CBRE Northern California Capital Markets Institutional Properties team.  He specializes in investment and development sales in the San Francisco Bay Area. Mr. Taquino excels at understanding real estate trends and successfully closing transactions on behalf of his clients.  He consistently ranks among the top producers in the San Francisco office.  

The San Francisco Business Times recognized the accomplishments of Mr. Taquino and Mr. Kovac by naming them “2018 Brokers of the Year”. The San Francisco Business Times also honored Mr. Taquino as a recipient of the prestigious “Real Estate Figures of the 40 under 40 Class of 2018” award, recognizing the Bay Area’s most influential real estate industry leaders.  

Mr. Taquino began his real estate career in CBRE’s commercial appraisal division in San Francisco and transitioned to commercial real estate brokerage with Grubb & Ellis.   Mr. Taquino most recently worked as an Executive Managing Director at Newmark Knight Frank.

Mr. Taquino is a member of the San Francisco Guardsmen and a board member of the YMCA East Bay.
