Aaron Cukier

Aaron Cukier is a Senior Vice President in the retail division of CBRE’s New York City office. He represents both retailers and landlords, focusing on tenant site selection, landlord leasing strategy. and lease negotiations. Aaron has more than 20 years of leasing experience, including 7 years as head of retail leasing for a major New York City developer. Aaron’s tailored approach leverages his extensive market knowledge and experience to best accomplish client objectives.

Aaron has worked with a large number of national retailers including CVS, Design Within Reach, Chase Bank, True Religion, Annick Goutal, The Swatch Group, Vespa, Guess?, Eileen Fisher, City Sports, Waterworks, Nine West, Title Boxing, Juice Press and Sugarfina.

Notable New York City flagship successes include:

• Alamo Drafthouse, 28 Liberty, Financial District in 35,000 sq ft. Deal was recognized as REBNY’s Most Significant Retail Deal of the Year in 2018. Represented Fosun International Limited
• CVS, 1440 Broadway, Times Square in 24,000 sq ft. Represented both CVS and NY REIT
• Brooklyn Fare, 229 Cherry Street, Lower East Side in 25,000 sq ft. Represented Extell Development
• Footlocker, 22 East 14th Street, Union Square in 10,000 sq ft. Represented Sutton Garrett Real Estate

As a landlord representative, Aaron’s completed transaction tenant list includes Planet Fitness, Bright Horizons, Chase Bank, Helly Hanson USA, Kumon, Drybar, Hirohisa Sushi, Tend Dental, Corepower Yoga, Uggs, Solidcore, The Learning Experience, and The Collegiate School.

Aaron is an active member of the Real Estate Board of New York where he serves on the Rebny Retail Committee, as well as a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and real estate from the University of New Hampshire.
