Adam Lawler joined CBRE Chicago’s market-leading Agency Leasing team in 2021 as a Vice President, focusing on developing and executing strategic leasing and repositioning plans for investors in the city’s best-in-class suburban submarkets. Mr. Lawler brings an ownership/investor perspective to his clients through his background in acquisitions and asset management. By applying current market driving investment theses, Mr. Lawler effectively structures added value to leasing, development, redevelopment, acquisition and disposition.
Prior to his current role, he served as Vice President at Crestlight Capital, a private real estate investment firm formed in 2017 to invest in office and mixed-use commercial investments in the eastern half of the United States. At Crestlight, Mr. Lawler developed investment and operating strategies while leading asset management efforts on a 2.2 million square-foot portfolio with over 130 tenants in Atlanta, Chicago, Milwaukee and Minneapolis. Prior to Crestlight, he spent four years at Sterling Bay, working on all facets of acquisitions, asset management and portfolio management and was involved in the acquisition of Prudential Plaza and 600 W Chicago, Sterling Bay’s two largest acquisitions to date.
