Mr. Alex Maine is an Institutional Fund Senior Analyst on the Valuation & Advisory (Fund) team, providing institutional clients with data-driven, defensible valuations across a wide spectrum of commercial real estate assets. He has completed 400+ appraisals spanning multifamily, retail, industrial, office, mixed-use, and specialized housing sectors, assessing properties valued from $500,000 to $200 million.
Mr. Maine’s experience enables clients, including institutional investors, REITs, lenders, developers, and financial institutions, to make informed decisions for acquisitions, dispositions, financing, portfolio optimization, and strategic planning. His strong foundation in cash flow modeling, discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, feasibility analysis, and ARGUS Enterprise allows him to translate complex asset-level and portfolio-level data into clear, actionable insights that support investment strategy, capital allocation, and risk management.
Prior to joining CBRE, while working with both Colliers International and JLL, Mr. Maine has consistently delivered USPAP- and FIRREA-compliant valuation reports tailored to client-specific requirements, helping stakeholders navigate financing, value-add initiatives, litigation, tax appeals, and regulatory scrutiny with confidence. His hands-on experience conducting hundreds of site inspections and evaluating zoning, tax, environmental, and market factors enhances the accuracy and credibility of valuation conclusions.
