Alex Mercer is an Executive Managing Director with CBRE’s Strategic Occupier Accounts, an enterprise leadership team in the Chief Client Office that focuses on deeply understanding clients’ needs and connecting them to capabilities across the company’s four business segments.
Previously, he served as Senior Managing Director and head of media and telecom accounts. He directed the strategy and operations of integrated teams worldwide, overseeing advisory and transaction services, project management, and enterprise facilities management. During his tenure, the sector significantly advanced its industry-specific offering, enhanced integration across services, and doubled the business.
Earlier in his career, he led several major partnerships as AT&T’s Global Alliance Director, and ExxonMobil’s Americas Alliance Director and Global Head of Strategy and Transactions.
Prior to management roles, he advised clients on more than 500 transaction and consulting engagements across 60 countries.
