Alex Sagues is a member of the San Francisco Urban Retail team, which focuses on representation and consulting for best-in-class landlords and tenants. Alex and the Urban Retail Team are called on for their exceptional consulting work on high-profile assets in need of repositioning or a fresh perspective.
Alex is known for discovering innovative and unique restaurant and retail concepts to complement the needs of the Urban Retail Team’s clients. Though he is particularly passionate about food and restaurant-focused assignments, he is also dedicated to uncovering new and exciting omni-channel retail concepts.
Alex focuses his leasing and consulting work on large, complex mixed-use projects. Notable assignments include leasing at the Golden State Warriors’ Chase Center, Tishman Speyer and the Giants’ Mission Rock, and Springline – one of the most significant food and beverage projects on the Peninsula and in the South Bay. Additionally, Alex has advised retailers including Barry’s Bootcamp, Proper Food, Epicurean Trader, Blue Bottle Coffee, and many others in creating and executing regional and national retail expansion strategies.
Alex graduated from the United States Military Academy West Point in 2013 after majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He commissioned as a Second Lieutenant and joined the Infantry Branch of the U.S. Army in 2013. After completing the Infantry Officer Basic Leader Course, Airborne School, Air Assault School, and Ranger School, he joined the 82nd Airborne Division and served as a Platoon Leader, Executive Officer and as the 82nd Airborne Division Higher Headquarters Battalion Assistant Operations Officer.
