Andrew Klosterman is a State Certified General Appraiser with CBRE. Based out of Salem, Oregon, in the Mid-Willamette Valley, he has been in the appraisal industry for over 14 years. He specializes in Agricultural/Timber/Natural Resource/Rural properties, and leads the Agricultural practice for CBRE in the Pacific Northwest.
Mr. Klosterman has extensive experience with Agricultural, Rural, Timber, and Natural Resource properties, which has been the focus of his career as an appraiser. This includes permanent plantings, vineyards, summer camps, wineries, processing facilities, ranches, dairies, and complex agricultural properties of all types. He is also experienced with rock quarries and other natural resource properties.
His practice includes extensive appraisal work for lenders, attorneys, investment firms, governmental entities, non-profit organizations, and private individuals. They range in size from typical family farms to large portfolios of 1,000+ acre tracts. A sample of typical uses include lending, estate settlement, gifting, portfolio management, rental surveys, highest and best use analysis, bankruptcy proceedings, among others.
Mr. Klosterman is pursuing the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute and has a Certified General Appraiser License issued in Oregon and Washington.
