Anne P. Rahm is the Midwest Regional Manager for CBRE’s Public Institutions and Education Group, a national team dedicated to delivering strategic real estate solutions for public agencies and educational institutions. Anne specializes in guiding clients through complex, high-profile transactions with a focus on creating long-term value and aligning real estate decisions with broader organizational goals.

Her expertise spans public-private partnerships, development consulting, strategic portfolio planning and optimization, market and financial analysis, highest and best use studies, leasing, acquisitions and dispositions, and RFP development and oversight. Anne is particularly skilled in land development project strategy, helping clients unlock the full potential of their real estate assets through innovative planning and execution approaches.

With a strong foundation in Capital Markets and corporate banking, Anne brings advanced financial insight to every engagement. She develops customized monetization strategies that maximize returns while mitigating risk, ensuring projects are both economically viable and strategically sound.

Prior to joining CBRE, Anne was part of Grubb & Ellis’ Institutional Capital Markets group, focusing on corporate finance solutions for large-scale real estate transactions. Earlier in her career, she served as a Corporate Lending Officer in Washington D.C., Detroit, and Chicago, managing a combined portfolio exceeding $1.1 billion.

Anne’s unique blend of financial expertise, development experience, and strategic advisory skills positions her as a trusted partner for organizations navigating complex land development initiatives. She is passionate about helping clients transform underutilized properties into vibrant, revenue-generating assets that serve both community and institutional objectives. Recent examples include:

  • Chicago State University, IL: Development of over 530 student housing beds and supporting retail for the University.  
  • Champaign-Urbana Mass Transit District, IL: Expansion and development of Illinois Terminal including terminal facilities, new Bus Terminal, Parking Deck, Residential/Mixed-Use Tower, and Plaza.
  • WebberWillis Ventures – The Jewel, Detroit, MI: Redevelopment of 10+ acres of heavy industrial for mixed-use residential, hotels, live event space, retail and restaurants. 
  • City of Strongsville, OH: Development/marketing of 88 acres for advanced manufacturing, life sciences and lab/research uses.
