Mr. Anthony Garatoni is based in Seattle, Washington as a Fund Analyst with our CBRE Institutional Valuation & Advisory (IVAS) team.
Mr. Garatoni brings a strong analytical background in real estate finance, portfolio analysis, and investment underwriting, with experience spanning loan servicing, private equity, and development oriented environments. In his most recent role as a CBRE Loan Portfolio Analyst, he conducted detailed financial analyses on properties and loans held within private client portfolios, ensuring compliance and due diligence across transactions. His work required a deep familiarity with loan documents and legal agreements, paired with frequent interaction with clients, sponsors, and internal partners to resolve issues and support portfolio performance.
Earlier, Mr. Garatoni gained exposure to acquisitions and investment analysis through an internship with a multifamily and self storage developer/operator. There, he assisted with underwriting prospective deals, evaluating demographics and market data, and preparing financial inputs and rent comparable analyses to support investment decision making. He also created stacking plans and contributed to the preparation of financial models.
He further strengthened his foundation in real estate investment during a private equity internship, where he conducted market research for future projects and evaluated the projected and actual performance of financial models. He also attended development, design, and finance meetings, gaining insight into the full investment and project lifecycle.
Mr. Garatoni’s combined experience in financial analysis, underwriting, market research, and cross functional collaboration positions him well to support fund level valuation work and analytical responsibilities within the VAS platform.
