Associated Office
Ashley Young is a Vice President within our Retail Services Group specializing in Urban Street Retail and Tenant Site Selection & Expansion in Michigan. She joined the team in 2016, predominantly to focus on the retail development and leasing of The District Detroit; the 385-acre multi-billion-dollar sports and entertainment district anchored by Little Caesars Arena, home to the Detroit Red Wings, the Detroit Pistons, and premiere concerts. She specializes in cultivating unique and authentic retail developments, with an emphasis on festival streets and dining districts. A significant accomplishment was Columbia Street, a 40,000 SF festival street, anchored by Eminem’s only restaurant, Mom’s Spaghetti.
Ashley continues to expand her diverse portfolio of Tenant Representation, working with national clients to enter and expand through Michigan. Her most recent successes in the market include Crumbl Cookies (5 stores), Boot Barn (4 stores), Milan Laser (8 stores), and Total By Verizon (20 stores in 5 months).
Before she joined CBRE in 2016, she spent eight years in Los Angeles working in the entertainment and hospitality industries, working for such industry leaders as SBE, The h.wood Group, and Boulevard Nightlife Group. She is a graduate of the University of Miami, the Second Vice President of the SAG-AFTRA Michigan Board, the Fundraising Chair of Our Horn Is Not Medicine, and proud Mama to her 1 year old son, Nolan Hendrix Young.
