Aylin Gucalp

Aylin Gucalp is a New York-based retail consultant focused on strategy development, market entry and expansion, and portfolio management. Integrating data and technology with local knowledge, Ms. Gucalp has counseled several first-to-market concepts and direct-to-consumer brands with their entry into the New York City marketplace including Rixo, Del Core, Persol, MINISO, and Grown Brilliance and expanded wellness concepts like Othership, Majesty’s Pleasure, and Glowbar across the Tri-State. She has benchmarked retail units throughout their term lengths for retailers like Nike, Luxottica, and Ascena Retail, partnering with the brands to map their strategy and evolution in the NYC marketplace, identifying and anticipating areas for growth, and repositioning existing units.

On the agency side, she has completed projects for the Hauser Family, Rockwood Capital, GFI Hospitality, Javeri Capital, and Nuveen Real Estate, having secured credit tenants such as H&M at 591 Broadway, PacSun at 503 Broadway, Trader’s Joes at 670 Columbus Avenue, and first to market concepts such as Tokyo Base and Golfwang at 33-35 Howard Street, Deciem at 475 Fifth Avenue, and Rothy’s at 407 Bleecker Street.
