Ben Wobschall joined CBRE’s Data Center Capital Markets Team in 2024, focusing on the capitalization of data center investment properties throughout North America.
Mr. Wobschall has over 20 years of experience in institutional real estate investment management covering asset management, acquisitions and dispositions, development, joint ventures, capital raising, and portfolio management. Across his career, he has completed transactions totaling over 28 million square feet of real estate with a combined capitalization exceeding $5 billion.
Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Wobschall served as Managing Director at Principal Asset Management where he oversaw investment strategy and execution of data center assets including the Principal Digital Real Estate Fund—an opportunistic data center investment vehicle launched in 2020.
Mr. Wobschall is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Finance & Real Estate.
