Benzi Blatman

Benzi Blatman is a member of the San Francisco Urban Retail Team, a group of real estate professionals specializing in active, community-defining retail. With a deep appreciation for sites with a sense of place, Benzi helps local and national retailers meet their customers where they are. He also helps landlords find tenants to activate their assets’ ground floor. Benzi believes deeply in retail’s ability to build community through its unique quality as both a private and public space.

Born and raised in San Francisco, Benzi started his career with Cushman & Wakefield’s Retail Investment Advisory team, specializing in multi-tenant retail properties across Northern California. He then joined Wilson Meany to work on development and acquisitions, focusing on various asset types at Hollywood Park and Treasure Island, as well as Union Square.

Outside of work, Benzi is a board member for Dear Community, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting small, Asian-owned businesses through a variety of social and philanthropic programs. He is also involved in community outreach and planning for the renovation of Japantown’s Osaka Way / Buchanan Mall.
