MUFG is the Americas holding company of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, the 5th largest bank in the world, with over 2,300 offices in 50+ countries and more than 150,000 global employees.

Under Bill’s leadership, the account has recently completed a large account refresh, with a new Senior Leadership Team recruited and installed, 15 new KPIs negotiated and implemented, and eight major playbooks rewritten across all service lines. He and his team are in tenacious pursuit of operational excellence and dark-green client satisfaction, while implementing a full suite of new CBRE technology solutions.

Prior to joining the MUFG Account, Bill served as Chief Operating Officer on the BB&T Account, overseeing end to end facilities management, project management, and business intelligence across a 19.5M square-foot portfolio. He led a team of 200 highly-skilled professionals and oversaw a $150M annual capital and expense budget. He was promoted into the COO role after less than a year on the account due to his success as FM Senior Director where he successfully re-organized the leadership team and delivered on several high-impact initiatives that improved operational excellence, cost efficiency and client satisfaction.

Prior to joining the BB&T account in 2016, Bill served as Platform Director for Integrated Facilities Management and Mobile Engineering Services on the Bank of America account where his team of 100 technical professionals used their talents to provide safe, productive, attractive, comfortable and cost-efficient office buildings, financial centers and ATMs for Bank of America’s employees and customers. Bill oversaw a 27M square portfolio that spanned more than 3,000 locations. Under his leadership, the productivity of the mobile engineering team measured in work orders completed per day increased 53% and self-performance of core work increased 11%, yielding multi-million savings per year. He achieved dark-green status on all metrics during his tenure and helped create a new Facility Condition Index (FCI) inspection program to develop more accurate and better prioritized capital and expense budgets. He also led a global standardization initiative where he partnered with LATAM, EMEA and APAC leaders to reduce business disruption notification and resolution cycle times by 55% across 30 countries.

In total, Bill has more than 20 years of professional experience in facilities management, account management, transactions and project management in the commercial real estate and non-profit industries. Recognized by his peers as an industry leader, he has received several awards, including a 2015 CBRE Rising Star award where he was recognized from among more than 19,000 employees within his line of business at the time.

Prior to joining CBRE, Bill spent 5 years with Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) in facilities management analytics and real estate transactions management on a national scale. Prior to that, he held progressively-responsible roles in the non-profit industry including serving as a Global Project Director, where he mobilized 100+ college students for community and economic development projects before attending graduate business school to pursue his dream of working in real estate.

Throughout his career, Bill has represented landlords and tenants in lease negotiations, secured and implemented multi-million-dollar service contracts with Fortune 500 clients, and led diverse and cross-functional teams to exceed internal and client goals on a global basis.
