Blake Bishop

Blake Bishop is a seasoned Vice President of Leasing for the Mall and Large Format team in CBRE’s Retail Asset Services division. With over 32 years of experience in the retail real estate industry, Blake excels in developing and executing comprehensive leasing strategies for retail property owners. His expertise encompasses transactional processes, analytical assessments in development and construction, and effective property operations, all of which enable him to adeptly navigate portfolio negotiations. His extensive national market knowledge and strong relationships with retailers position him as a key asset in helping clients achieve their strategic merchandising goals.

Prior to his role at CBRE, Blake held executive-level positions at prominent firms such as General Growth Properties (GGP)/Brookfield, JLL, and CenterCal Properties. During his 20 years at GGP, he was responsible for leasing and redevelopment efforts across 30 regional malls, collectively generating annual net operating income exceeding $300 million. Blake's impressive portfolio includes over 60 retail assets, where he has led significant redevelopment projects, such as Park Meadows Mall in Colorado and Town Square Las Vegas in Nevada. His comprehensive experience ranges from single-tenant remerchandising to large-scale renovations and repositioning efforts.

Blake began his career with Homart Development in Dallas, Texas, before relocating to the Pacific Northwest, where he has lived for the past 25 years. He is a proud graduate of Texas A&M University, holding a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. Throughout his career, Blake has successfully introduced flagship retailers like H&M, Zara, and American Girl to new markets, solidifying his reputation as a leader in retail leasing and property development.
