Blake Lichtig is a Director with CBRE’s Property & Transaction Tax Group, based in Denver, Colorado. In this role, Mr. Lichtig specializes in helping CBRE clients manage and minimize their property tax burden. Opportunities to provide tax relief include property tax assessments, appeal services, ensuring transfer taxes are accurate, and preparing property tax estimates for budgeting, accruals and pre-acquisition due diligence. Mr. Lichtig utilizes CBRE’s world-class research and valuation platforms and works closely with their industry leading property management and transaction professionals to provide the most insightful value and guidance for his clients.
Mr. Lichtig brings more than 15 years of experience in property tax advisory services and provides multi-state valuation support for multifamily and commercial properties. In the past 3 years, Mr. Lichtig has represented over $4Billion of assets in the assessment and appeals process.
Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Lichtig was a Regional Sales Director for Paramount Property Tax Appeal based in California. Earlier in his career, Blake earned the CCIM credential, a prestigious designation awarded to commercial real estate professionals who demonstrate expertise and commitment to the field.
